I picked up this jug in a second hand store, so I don’t know what it was used for originally. What I do know, is that it makes a great model for painting! For me this piece is all about celebration of Summer and stone fruit, and the gentle caress of the leaf hovering above the peach, hence the name ‘Caress’
The paining on panel is "float-framed' giving it a spacious feel and a sense of presence.
Featured in the May edition of Apero (International online and physical) Catalogue
